I was working for Borders Bookstores as a barista within the Seattle's Best Coffee Cafe in Spokane, WA before my time at THCR. The future was pretty grim at Border's so I applied for a store manager position at our Gonzaga University location and was fortunate enough to get the job. Soon after I had left Borders that company folded. They simple could not operate the company without my barista skills. I'm a big deal. Please insert laughter here...
The ever evolving environment of the coffee industry is captivating. Every day is different and is challenging, and the quest to learn more about coffee never stops. The employee discount on whole bean coffee is always a plus.

Where’s your favorite place in the world?
The Oregon Coast. The second I walk out on the sandy beaches I immediately relax and my mind goes silent. The sound of the waves never gets old. Even when the weather is terrible I still love being on the Oregon Coast.
Run, CrossFit, landscaping and home improvement projects, I like food (I'm a really good eater), and I try to make the world a better place with my smile and effervescent personality.
I ate beets a couple times. Beets are not my favorite thing to eat. I dislike the flavor so much that I cannot fathom why anyone would even smell them let alone put any portion of a beet in their mouth. Those who know me will find this answer to be very appropriate as something crazy for me to do.
I have a twin brother.

My friends are the most inspiring and wonderfully supportive people I know. I could not imagine my life without them and their advice, guidance, listening skills, and mostly their ability to make me laugh.
